Project Overview
Client: H.T. Berry
Objective: To produce a 3D animation advertisement designed for display at the TD Garden in Boston, MA, showcasing H.T. Berry’s services in a creative and visually engaging way.
Scope of Work
3D Animation: Developed a stylized 3D animation following an H.T. Berry delivery truck as it navigates through an iconic virtual downtown Boston.
Featured recognizable landmarks, including the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge, Prudential Building, John Hancock Tower, and the TD Garden, ensuring the animation resonated with the local audience.
Display and Formatting
Tailored the animation for multiple screen dimensions and resolutions to maximize impact across various display types.
The advertisement was prominently showcased during Boston Bruins and Celtics games (2015–2018), reaching large audiences via Scoreboard and encircling digital signage within the stadium. Monitors located throughout walkways, concession areas and other high-traffic zones.
Production Tools
Utilized Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Audition) for design, animation, editing and audio enhancement.
Leveraged Foundry Modo for 3D modeling and rendering to create a realistic yet stylized representation of the cityscape.
Outcome
The project successfully combined brand storytelling and dynamic visuals to elevate H.T. Berry’s presence in a high-profile sports and entertainment venue. The animation not only highlighted the company’s services but also established a strong connection with the Boston community by incorporating iconic local landmarks.
